Hello Everyone,

I hope this email finds you and finds you well. I write to you today from my home in Brevard, NC, where my wife and I moved last October. It’s a small mountain town nestled in between two national forests in the Appalachian Mountains. We have 202 waterfalls in our county, along with bluegrass music, cool air and kind people. I feel at peace here and clear that my 58 year-long search for home has finally ended and landed me here. I was watering my garden this morning before sunrise, admiring the blue mist that covers the mountains here before dawn, when I felt a kind, soft, quiet peace came over me. I remembered feeling this same gentle quietude cover my energy field while planting flowers over the weekend. This energy comes to me in silence, as if to say, I’ve been here all along, quietly waiting for you to stop and listen. 'I’m here’, says this energy, I don’t belong to anyone or anything. I’m here allowing all things to blossom under the sun. And you have my full support at all times.’ It is with this promise from the Earth, this whisper of wisdom that I settle. My energy settles, my mind settles and I remember calm. I remember safety. I remember trust and prosperity. I remember me.

These are wild and intense times we are living in, full of emotional compost, vibrational whiplash and forced, energetic updates. Sometimes it feels to me like my emotions are on a sea-saw. One moment I can be in the throws of an old, encumbered emotion, and the next moment I’m flying high with truth and trust. This is the juxtaposition of change and energetic updates that grip us at this time. And truly, no one is getting through this time untouched. I feel it is important now to remember two things.

1.) Remember the Medicine you carry.

We each came here with a healing salve in our karmic backpacks. Perhaps your medicine is one of nurturing through food. Well, cook my sweet friend, cook! Or perhaps your medicine is structural. So, build a house or create a spreadsheet, whatever is called for at this time. Show up how you can to offer what you can to make your life and your world a better place. We need all the medicine we can get at this time in our collective evolution. Each and every one of you is a vital piece of our human puzzle. And, we all need each other to be whole. So get to know the medicine you carry and practice offering it out to the world.

2.) Spend time connecting with the Earth.

When the Buddha, Siddhartha, reached enlightenment, Mara, his shadow and the embodiment of deception, asked him, ‘what gives you the right to claim enlightenment. What authority gives a mere human this right?’ The Buddha reached down and touched his right hand to the Earth, a gesture signifying the Earth is his witness and she gives him this right. At this moment, there was a loud rumbling, the Earth shook and said, “I am his witness.” Mother Earth rose to meet the Buddha and witness his claim over the destructive thoughts that assailed him.

It’s so touching to me that the Buddha makes the connection with Mother Earth as his witness. Of all the gods in the heavens, the Buddha reaches to the Earth to bear witness to his claim. With this I remind us all, myself included, that our Earth is here to hold us, love us, bear witness to us and help us transmute our negative thoughts and emotions. She shows us this every day. She is our true mother and gave birth to each and every being on this planet. There is a spirit to our Earth and it is feminine, kind and loving. Also, she has good boundaries, so let’s do all we can to honor her and not piss her off any further!

These are swift times we are living in full of lightning fast shifts and, often times, unexpected changes. Spending time on the Earth and in nature will help you ground off the energies that are peppering your world at this time. I have heard Great Spirit tell me more than once that the Earth loves to transmute energy. Mother Earth is in a symbiotic, working relationship with us. She asks us to update and offers us her assistance to do so. In return we all live in more harmony together.

May we each find our medicine and carry it forth, out into the world. And may each of us honor the Earth, and live in a reciprocal relationship with her and each other. I will leave you now with one of my favorite quotes.

You are precious, with a preciousness that cannot be computed. Nothing, absolutely nothing can separate you from the source of all life; not disease, not suffering, not even death. Go forth sustained by the knowledge that you are precious. You are embraced, able to go forth with a courage that is not your own. Because it’s source is the source of all that is beautiful, that is good, that is true.

Since the beginning of Covid in 2020, throughout the pandemic and up until now, I lowered my rates for sessions as a way of offering my support during these challenging times. Now, in keeping with sacred reciprocity, I feel it’s time to raise my cost for private sessions and packages. So, starting September 1st, individual readings with me will be $250 and a package of 3 sessions will be $600. Thank you all for your support!
